For over 20 years the Southwark Community Education Council (SCEC) has operated three schemes of enrichment classes on Saturday mornings for pupils from primary schools across Southwark.  Now a registered charity, the SCEC works together with participating primary schools to offer selected children a chance to extend their skills in literacy, mathematics or science in a fun and stimulating environment.

The charity receives support-in-kind from the three Dulwich foundation schools, Dulwich College, James Allen’s Girls’ School and Alleyn’s School.  Each of these host one of the three curriculum schemes for up to 45 primary children each week.
